As the story continues, the doll helps the child overcome obstacles in her life. The doll is essentially a metaphor for intuition. Each participant is given a kit and we create our dolls together. The making of the dolls is a way of honoring and celebrating this gift of women’s inner wisdom, handed down from generation to generation.
